Ivy Enyonam’s ‘A Plant In Your Space’ initiative distributed over 350 FREE plants last year

Ivy Enyonam, a communications consultant for prestigious brands, has launched an initiative called ‘A Plant in Your Space’. My primary objective is to promote greenery and wellness in offices and homes. Recently, I distributed over 500 plants in Accra, out of which 350 were free of cost, in association with event organizers such as Hella Plants and The Ghana Flower Community.

My focus on nature preservation and women’s empowerment, particularly in the creative space, led me to launch ‘A Plant in Your Space’ in 2023. I believe that having plants in one’s space can significantly reduce stress, and anxiety, and improve overall health by providing cleaner air. My hope is that my initiative will encourage people to create a healthier and more sustainable environment by incorporating plants in their spaces. The initiative has received a positive response from the public, who have expressed their gratitude for the free plants.
