The Plant Plug GH to Host Third Edition of "Sip and Soil" Experience This June in Accra
The PlantPlug GH, Ghana’s leading urban gardening and plant lifestyle brand, is set to host the third edition of its much-anticipated "Sip and Soil" program this June in Accra in partnership with Niyilor. This unique event promises an immersive blend of plant care education, creativity, and relaxation for plant lovers, gardening enthusiasts, and anyone looking to explore the joys of nurturing greenery in today’s world.
Scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the serene Number 19 Restaurant in Accra, this year’s "Sip and Soil" event promises an even richer, holistic experience blending plant care education with creativity, wellness conversations, and vibrant cultural expressions. The program is designed for plant lovers, gardening beginners, and anyone eager to explore the therapeutic joy of nurturing greenery in modern living spaces.
Participants will enjoy a hands-on plant care session, complete with self-pot painting, guided potting workshops, and insightful lessons on soil science and sustainable gardening practices. As they work, guests can sip on a carefully curated selection of cocktails and teas crafted specially for the occasion.
The 2025 edition also elevates the event by featuring a thought-provoking panel discussion covering important themes such as mental health, sustainability and gender equality which are issues closely tied to The Plant Plug GH’s vision of promoting well-being through nature. Guests will also be treated to a live band performance by the sensational Susan Augustt, creating a relaxing and inspiring atmosphere.

According to The PlantPlug GH, this initiative is designed to make plant care fun, approachable, and therapeutic, especially for beginners and busy urban dwellers. "Our mission has always been to demystify plant parenting, bring people closer to nature and ultimately advocate for as many plants as possible in our living spaces," said Ivy Enyonam, Founder of The Plant Plug GH. "Sip and Soil” is more than a workshop; it’s a community-building experience where guests can unwind, connect with others, and leave with a living creation(plant) they can nurture themselves.
The full program line-up includes:
· Plant care workshop
· Self-pot painting
· Art exhibition in a jungle
· Plant pop-up sale featuring a variety of indoor and outdoor plants
